Although preparation for the Kansas Sampler Festival goes on all year, the
obvious signs that something was happening in Concordia City Park began a
assembled. Tables and chairs and other supplies were unloaded. Fencing went
up around the park. All of this happened before the exhibitors ever stepped foot
in the park.
