- Chamber Gift Certificates - The Chamber's Gift
Certificate Program is very popular. The program is simple -
Chamber Gift Certificates can be purchased in any
denomination and resolve the issue of "what-to-buy" since
"one-size-fits-all." Chamber Gift Certificates can be used at
any Chamber member business. Last year sales of
Chamber Gift Certificates totaled about $30,000.
- Marketing Opportunities - Chamber members have some
unique promotional advertising opportunities: sponsor a
weekly Chamber Coffee, place an insert in the Chamber
newsletter, or hold a "Business After Hours." Advertising
opportunities are available to Chamber members on various
pages of the website.
Conference Room. The weekly Coffees offer networking opportunity and fellowship.

Cloud County is home to Meridian Way Wind Farm, recently constructed a few miles south of Concordia. The
wind farm site includes 38,000 acres of land, at an elevation of 1650 ft. Meridian Way, a 201 megawatt (MW)
wind farm, is owned by Horizon Wind Energy, LLC. At the 2009 Fall Fest parade, Vestas had a scale model
of the wind turbines found in the Meridian Way Wind Farm. Following the parade, the model was on display
at Jitters Coffee House, later at EcoWater of NCK, and now can be seen at Babe Houser Motor Co., Inc.
