Concordia is proud to host the 2008 and 2009 Kansas Sampler Festival! Concordia City Park,
the site of Festival, is located just two blocks west of US Hwy. 81, between 11th & 13th Streets.

Cloud County is home to Meridian Way Wind Farm, just recently constructed, a few miles south of
Concordia. The wind farm site includes 38,000 acres of land, at an elevation of 1650 feet. Meridian
Way, a 201 megawatt (MW) wind farm, is owned by Horizon Wind Energy, LLC , and will produce over
650,000 MW hours of clean energy.
